From the moment I met Katherine and Gary for their engagement session, I knew we’d have a wonderful shoot. They’re both super friendly and laugh easily, which is the key to having a fun and picture perfect engagement session! Add to that the gem of a location (especially for winter shoots) that Katherine found, Prosser Pines, and it’s easy to see how we got so many great photos that day.
It’s hard to find a good location for winter engagement sessions. Even if you’re adventurous enough to brave the cold, there just aren’t that many beautiful places that aren’t overly crowded in New York. Prosser Pines turned out to be one of those rare locations. It’s a small but absolutely lovely park deep in Long Island. But since it’s pretty small, we went to the nearby Wildwood State Park to get some sundown photos at the beach!
