Not many people get to say that they truly love their jobs. But I truly love being a wedding photographer and filmmaker. That’s because as a wedding photographer, I get to be a part of one of the most joyful, exciting, and emotional days in people’s lives in a profound way. I get to build relationships with clients and leave them with visual heirlooms that they can share for generations.

My name is Hanel, pronounced like Chanel without the c. I’ve been photographing the world around me since 2004, but really found my calling once I assisted my first wedding back in 2011. The rest, as they say, is history. Being an English major, my style is heavily influenced by the literary world and the power of story-telling. My main focus is to create images that tell my clients’ stories through visual narratives. 

With hundreds of weddings and elopements under our belts, my team and I have been a part of weddings of all colors, sizes, and locations. Our destination weddings have taken us to some incredible locations, including Hawaii, Korea and Aruba.
