I love how weddings come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes, I get to photograph ones that are grand and stunning, yet give off the intimate vibe that I cherish in weddings. Sophia and Jason’s wedding was one of those.
From getting ready at the luxurious Lotte New York Palace hotel to the ceremony and reception at 620 Loft and Garden, everything oozed style and grandeur. Yet there was an unmistakable intimacy thanks to the soft-spoken couple and the love from friends and family.
On a side note, about the last image (since I get asked about that shot): There’s nowhere to get that angle of view on the rooftop. To get this shot, I had the camera on a tall light stand and use the timer mode.,The flash was off camera, held by an assistant.
